Refund Policy

AIHeadshotInstant is an independent product run by a solo developer based in mainland China — there is no company behind it. To keep the service sustainable as a one-person operation, the policy is simple:

All sales are final. No refunds.

1. Why no refunds

AIHeadshotInstant is a digital service. The moment you trigger a generation, I incur the compute cost of running the AI model on your photos — that cost is non-recoverable, whether or not you like every portrait in the batch. For that reason, every purchase (credits, subscriptions, and one-time packs) is final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed.

2. Try before you buy

Every new account receives 1 free credit at sign-up so you can evaluate the output quality with your own photos before spending any money. We strongly encourage you to use that credit first.

3. What I will do for you

Cash refunds are not issued, but I do stand behind the service:

  • Technical failure on my side — if a generation fails because of an error in the pipeline (not because the input did not meet the upload guidelines), the credit is automatically refunded so you can re-run the job at no additional cost.
  • Duplicate or accidental charge — if you were billed twice for the same purchase, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, email me and the duplicate charge will be reversed.
  • Unauthorized charge — if you believe your account or payment method was used without your permission, email me immediately so the account can be locked and the case investigated.

4. Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription from your account dashboard at any time — the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents future charges. Already-paid periods and already-consumed credits are not refunded, and unused credits do not convert to cash.

5. Chargebacks

If you have an issue, please contact me first — I am quick and reasonable. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting me will result in the account being suspended pending resolution.
